There is always a place for me to grow and continue moving up. I have had great managers that have pushed me toward my career goals and helped me succeed. They have always taken care of me. I've worked hard, and I've always been rewarded.

As I continued to grow within the company, I had the opportunity to take on an outside sales position. It was a very easy process because of what I learned. I had a base of customers I could call on and a whole bunch of experience that enabled me.

I appreciate the confidence my customers put in me. It is about renting them the right thing at the right time. That's how you build a relationship and trust. You help them in a situation and save them money...that's how you establish a customer for life.

What I really love about my job is talking to different types of people and trying to build relationships, not just for the short term, but for the long term. It's a challenge to get new business, but that's what makes it fun also. I enjoy that aspect of the job.

What girl grows up wanting to rent construction equipment? After 15 years, I've been in many roles, and I can confidently say I'm very happy and love my job. I love working at H&E because it is a personal company where leaders are eager to help.

I love being in my wheelhouse and getting to make a big difference...setting up customized programs to meet our national customer's needs. I stay focused on our customers. They become personal friends of mine and partners in business.

What I love most about my job is getting to assist everyone...helping my fellow employees work through problems and getting to know our customers. I work to gain trust so they know we are here for them to help them with their needs.

What's satisfying about my job is when you get to help a customer when he needs to get something up and going in a hurry. You can step back and take the training you've had and figure out the problem and get him up and going so he is back, productive.

The opportunities that I've had in my career here with H&E have been amazing! When you take a young guy from Montana that had no experience in the equipment business, and to see where I have been able to go, I think is a testament to H&E.

H&E is a growing company, thriving with personal relationships…everything that I was looking for in terms of joining a company. I really enjoy my team. We all work together, we look out for each other, and we support each other.

At the end of the day, the relationships have really gotten us to the point where we are today with our earthmoving business. With that comes trust and good business. Selling equipment is not that hard... it's relationships.

One great thing about working at H&E is that we are a team. We care about each other. You are a person, not a number. Here, people truly care. I've got a part in this company, and that is how I treat it ... like my company.

We all collaborate, and we all work together. Every employee's opinion matters, and I feel like I have a voice. There hasn't been a day that I didn't want to get up out of the bed and come to work. It has really been so much fun and a chance to learn a lot.

What I feel most rewarding about my position is when I can truly help a sales representative achieve the goal they are working towards. My aspirations for our team are to come together, work cohesively, and work better as a team.

I've been in the business for more than 30 years...10 years as a Technician, 10 years as a Service Manager, and now in my 10th year as a Branch Manager. What I love about my job is that H&E brings rentals, sales, parts, and service together.

Getting properly trained and having all the tools that I needed to get the job done really helped me. I enjoy working with equipment and with my team. They are hard working, and we do everything we can to give superior service to our customers.

When they hired me, I was so dumbfounded that they took an interest in me and were going to give me a shot. At that point, I decided one thing I could do to give back was work hard and do my best each and every day…so that's what I did.

I am fortunate to have had people who invested time in me. There is a level of support here that is unlike any company I have ever really seen or heard of. If you're willing to work hard, do things the right way, and treat people the right way, the sky's the limit.

I started as a Parts Manager, worked in Rentals and Sales, then as a Service Manager, and now as a Branch Manager. H&E is a company that gives me control over my decisions and empowerment. I love seeing the success of our branch and employees.

It's not just about the products we have; it's also the services we provide. You need people to do that. And with good people, you can get a lot done. I don't know anybody that has the same dedication that this store does in the Orlando market.

I learned a tremendous amount about management and our industry, and I was able to teach a lot. As a Branch Manager in a leadership role, my job is really to help my people complete their job tasks and take any type of issues or problems away.
